Absolutely! You can refer anyone anywhere.
No problem, Real Estate Referral Services will locate and screen potential REALTORS®.
Absolutely! REALTORS® are especially open to providing higher commission splits on high dollar transactions.
Yes, but you will have to take some steps first. What those steps entail will depend on how long ago your license expired and whether or not you are up-to-date on your CE requirements. Here are the rules:
If you have an expired real estate license in Florida, you face one of three possible scenarios:
- Those with a license status of involuntarily inactive for 12 months or less can reactive it by completing the required 14 continuing education credit hours, if they have not already, and paying the renewal along with a late fee.
- Those with a license status involuntarily inactive for more than 12 months, but less than 24 months can reactive it by completing a 28-hour reactivation course and paying the renewal and late fees.
- Any license deemed involuntarily inactive for more than 24 months is considered expired, and cannot be reactivated. Those looking to regain licensure will have to begin the process again or request a hearing before FREC.
Unfortunately, at this time, only agents with a Florida real estate license are eligible to join this brokerage.
You will NEVER pay money to us! The minimal cut we take comes directly out of your commission only when and if you earn commission.
The only expenses you will incur are related to keeping your real estate license current. This consists of two things: 1) License renewal fee payable to the DBPR every two years. That fee is currently $64; and 2) The cost of the required 14 hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years. With a quick Google search we found online class options for under $20.
So to summarize, to keep your license current it should only cost you about $84 every 2 years. But just one referral can make you 10 to 50 times that amount!
Florida Coast Realty Partners (FCRP) and Real Estate Referral Services (RRS) are both owned and operated by the same person, Cathy Laurenzi. She offers to pay the RRS agent 100% of the commission because she hopes this offer will incentivise RRS agents to refer to her or her REALTORS® at FCRP over other REALTORS® on the Space Coast.
As long as the client you are referring is buying or selling residential property in Brevard County, and you submit the referral to FCRP, you will receive 100% of the referral commission even if FCRP has to decline the referral. In cases where FCRP does not have an available agent to properly service the client, you will be notified and can either choose a REALTOR® in a different brokerage to give the referral to or have us find a suitable REALTOR® for you. After the client closes on a transaction, RRS will receive the referral commission and pay you 100%.
You are certainly under no obligation to refer to FCRP! However, we hope that you will take the opportunity to get to know the company. If you do, we feel pretty confident that you will come to the conclusion that your friends and family would be in great hands! Check out the FCRP wesbite and see what the company is all about. https://www.livefloridacoast.com/
